Is there a particular reason the BBC feels the need to put the background music over the presenters? I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I would for one would like to hear what the man actually driving the car has to say. Is this a marketing ploy for a future BBC music channel for Boomers? Do they feel that the presenter's comments aren't worthy of air time? Or are they employing Millenials with no previous work experience in an attempt at diversity? I guess we'll never know......

The current situation with the jaguar brand is a common case of too much money going to executives and ceo's rather than the people that make the cars for which the company is known for. End result is TATA an India company bought jaguar and land-rover, kept them for 2 years, and then sold them to the Chinese, that are now trying to sell jaguar again. I once owned a Jag XKRR..I knew it would never be worth what an Aston Martin would be worth in a few years time. Like I knew it would be worth less than a similar Porche, but unless you have driven the Jag and the Porche you'll never know how wonderful the Jag is.

my car just touches 58mph in 2nd gear before the fuel cut rev limiter, this this reaches 58mph in 1st, not sure if its got so many revs or if the final drive ratio is very tall

For anybody saying it’s the ILmines conversion with different audio being spliced in to avoid copyright just look up the original episode of the supercars in France when they take the GT, Zonda and 430 Spider to Paris and that bridge at the end. The audio mixing on that is absolutely horrendous.

When you talk about Aston Martin for me performance is secondary to luxury and wafting along in comfort. The GT with bucket seats and finish of something from across the pond is just a big no. In fact there is something about that car, it looks like a Vantage has humped a Mitsubishi GT 2000. The Jag looked old back then its simply a fossil now and never aged well.
